Amy
Amy is the owner of Shear Image and Nails Salon.
I have been doing hair since 2003. I love the this career and the amazing clients I have been blessed with. This job has allowed me to make my own schedule so I could be present for my children and stay involved with their school experiences when they were younger. Although I am not as involved in as many school commitments these days, I still keep flexible hours to accommodate my clients' busy schedules as well.
Over the last two decades, I've met multitudes of wonderful people that I saw fulfill their dreams throughout our time together and many have become friends as well. There is so much positive energy in transforming clients to the best versions of themselves by simply listening and giving them gorgeous hair that they can manage on their own. Whether its maintaining a color/cut they love, giving them a total makeover, or adding on a mani or pedi while they proocess- my job is so satisfying!
Its hard to find time to get the whole family taken care of with haircuts. This is a family friendly salon (with toys even) so never doubt booking "the whole family." If the toys and books don't keep them busy, the bakery next door has ice cream!!
I have a lot of patience with children and do exceptionally well with sensory/spectrum children as well. Haircuts should not be torture for the child or the parent, and I go above and beyond to achieve that.
